I hope you are right but wouldn't change the lack of trust in Sr., just that Jr. got his way last time - along with legal & financial troubles...I suspect RM/Perez et al have ensured that all of these issues would magically disappear as well as fatten their bank accounts & prestige even more

Neymar is a grown man. He'll only move to any other team if he wants to. The chance rm had to have him was when he was a teen. Or before signing for Barça. Flo offered a lot more money, and he didn't go there. If he was only after the money, he'd be a rm player since 2013. rm can't pay 190m plus taxes for him now(around 300m), anyway. they'd need to sell a lot of players for that. It's just a rm media campaing to try to destabilize Barça, again. And make people forget about their cdr fiasco.

Extremely close to his father, I don't think it'll be that simple to say Neymar will decide on his own.
Plus, the bigger difference atm is not just money but the legal entanglements he can be subjected to by rebuffing RM's advances...We don't know how it will turn out but as I said from the outset, I don't trust Sr. and so I won't be convinced until Neymar is actually officially extended.

He did decide to come to Barça on his own. Why would it be different now? He's happy, goes along well with everyone, and knows the dynamic in rm is quite different. There's also the nike factor. You're buying the rm media bs too easily.

Edit: Reading that he has some discomfort. Most likely won't travel with the team to Malaga tonight. He's also just one card away from suspension, so it could be some tricks being played here.
