I don't want to sound rude (towards our club), but:
1. Paris is a capital of Europe. Ney likes celebrity lifestyle, so Paris wins surely
2. Psg is much richer than us. So, bigger wages for Ney in Psg than in Barca over the next 5-10 years surely
3. Psg is richer than Barca, so in the future there is a chance that Psg will buy better players than us
4. Ney already won a CL+2 La Ligas. So, even if he wins nothing (in CL terms), he still has 1 trophy
Further, imo, when Messi will be gone, we (Barca) will be just regular mortals like before Messi.
So, if you play in Barca without Messi (from Neymar's point of view), you will have more or less the same chances to win a CL in a Psg (in a world without Messi).
Again, add a fact that Psg is and will be much richer than us, so there is a high chance that in 3 or 5 years, Top4 clubs in Europe will be: Barca, Real, Bayern and Psg.
Also, there is a high chance that Psg will in 5 years be equal to Barca's strength (once when Messi will be gone). And there is a chance that they will be even better than us, because of money.
So, a reply which we can read a lot how he will ruin his career if he goes away from Barca, isn't 100% accurate.
He will, imo, ruin his short term career since Barca will be better than Psg in the next 2-3-4 years while we have Messi (and possibly MSN)
So, if Ney leaves now, he will ruin his short-term career in terms of trophies.
But long term, it will be probably the same.
Also, if Neymar is egoistic, then people will always say that Barca won CLs, but that Ney was only Messi's little waterboy, more or less.
If Ney moves to some other team and wins a CL for them, he will truly turn into a legend of that team, and into a true Ballon D Or winner.
So, in short, if he stays here, no matter how many trophies he will win, he will always be overshadowed by Messi (Until Messi retires, or if Ney suddenly starts to play way better than Messi, which is highly unlikely)
And a lot of people won't rank Ney's impact too much (me included, because of Messi).
I don't want to cause 10s of replies now: Neymar is not egoistic, etc etc.
All of us are more or less egoistic.
If Neymar wants to be a key player and a best player of some top team, he will have to wait in Barca for 3-4-5-xx years (until Messi retires).
And whatever he wins here, questions will always be raised, like: have we won a title because of Messi, or other guys also had a huge impact?
Or, is it irrelevant whoever plays alongside Messi, more or less?
So, again, for the end, in a team like Psg:
1. his personal life (parties, celebrities, more famous city) would profit more
2. he would earn higher wages there surely
3. Psg may become stronger than us in 3-5 years (due to Messi retiring and Psg being way richer than us)
4. he could shine more on a personal level, as a footballer and a leader of a team there, where he doesn't have to live in anyone's shadow (Messi)
Again, I don't want to cause replies: but Ney loves Barca, he would never do that, blah blah.
I am just saying, try to look at it from a perspective if you were Ney, and forget Barca for 1 second and look at your personal interests (wages) and about your personal career (he can be an absolute leader there).
(And I can sense replies like: he already picked us over Real 3 years ago, he doesn't need money.
