Nah he hasnt been shit. His form has been up and down and still providing plenty of goals and assists. Did drop from first part and a really bad month or so but still played well in a lot of games.

The reason Messi and Pep's relationship got off to a good start was because the latter allowed the former to participate in the 2008 Olympics when the club was reluctant to do so.

For Brazil it was the last 'trophy' they lacked and had tried to win for a long time with far better teams including some former legends.

It is in everyones best interest that he took that extra vacation. He will be in great shape too. With enough match fitness through international games and will be fresh witu less travelling.
