So what, we won 1 CL with him and now he has a credit for the next 5-6 years, when we won't win any CL's anymore?
We were winning CLs before Neymar lately in 2006, 2009, 2011, 2015.
I am quite certain (as the time goes by) that Neymar's era will be the era with the lowest amount of CL's wins for Barca.
Currently we are at 1 out 3 with him in a team.
How we are playing this season, chances are extremely slim that we will win a CL.
If that happens for another 2-3 years, then you have to ask yourself:
= before Neymar a team was winning CL more often than with Neymar in a team, who is the most expensive signing in Barca's history (and top3 in football's history) and a "2nd best player in the world"
Then you have to wonder whether Neymar is that good and whether he actually improved our team as much as people think, if his Barca's career will one day look like:
1. played here for 5-6 years
2. won a CL in 2014/15 and a few La Ligas
3. after 2015's CL, his only contribution to a team were goals in trashings of Celtic, Levante and similar teams
(Some will say: a CL is luck.
Well, true. But best players and best leaders like Messi and Ronaldinho can find a way to solve all obstacles and to bring a title, more or less no matter what.
If you are losing it a year after year, it can't be only a bad luck, tough draw and a luck for our mortal enemies, RM).
Our fans don't get it, but Neymar is "our Pogba".
The same as how other neutrals are expecting wonders from Pogba because he was paid 110 Millions, and how people laugh and create memes when he has a poor match, Neymar is in the same boat.
The most expensive signing ever, hyped as the 2nd best player in the world and as a future football God and a leader, insane wages, insane footballing and media hype around him.
His hype is for some time waaaaay, waaaaaay bigger than him.
I will say again: we surely didn't pay Neymar 100 Millions for fee and 100+ Millions for wages, just to bring some La Ligas and 1 CL.
We could have achieved that with way cheaper wingers, more or less with Pedro.
Neymar's season till now:
1. Alaves 1:2, defeat=one of the worst players on the pitch, unable to do anything without MSN on form
2. Celtic 7:0, Mickey Mouse opponent=the whole team was on fire, Ney was also on fire
3. Leganes 5:1, Mickey Mouse opponent=the whole team was on fire, Ney was again also on fire
4. Atletico 1:1, tougher opponent, team struggles, our Pogba can't create any difference
This is more or less how a lot of us see the current Neymar.
He has good days against weaker teams and his stats go up.
I can't remember when was the last time when our Pogba was a decisive, key factor in some key match.
(Oh, against RM back in autumn of 2015, lol)
You see, this is currently our problem.
Messi has 12-13 seasons of world class form behind him when he was carrying our team on his shoulders, and he brought 3+1 CL titles.
He has tons of credits.
Suarez is here only for 2 Seasons, in his 1st season he brought a CL, in his 2nd season he scored 15-20 La Liga goals in the last 8-10 matches and brought us a title. He earned a lot of credits.
Neymar, the most expensive and most hyped player ever, was awesome in 2014/15 and that's more or less from him.
His other years at Barca were quite average even for a 40M player, and not to mention that he was a 100M player.
So, our problem is that we are expecting way more from our 100M boy.
If some people are happy with awesome displays against Mickey Mouse opponents and with dribbling backwards and doing tricks which leads to nothing, well, good for you.
You are quite an easy to please fans then.

We do look weaker than in 2015 and opponents gotten stronger.
