I think Coutinho goes before Dembele, if there is any common sense left in our board.

Coutinho is going before Dembele. It's just that if Griezmann and Neymar both come, Dembele would have to leave as well.

Coutinho is surely gone this summer regardless of whether or not he's included in a possible deal for Neymar. Griezmann's arrival makes Cou staying at the club virtually impossible. Dembele could still stay and get decent enough playing time even with Messi, Suarez and Griezmann in the squad. If Neymar did arrive though he too would be forced out of the club.

No other forwards would get any sort of significant game time with Griezmann, Messi, Suarez and Neymar all in the squad and Dembele would have to be sold to clear his wages and recoup some of the transfer fee for Neymar.

Don't be daft mate. Griezmann is close to being confirmed and if Neymar did arrive Dembele would have to be shown the door alongside Coutinho.

Why? There would be 5 players + Malcom for 3 attacking spots in 4-3-3. Or even 4 att spots if Valverde goes to his 4-2-2. One of these 5 is Suarez with his weight and stamina issues and another is Neymar with his legs made of glass. And Messi is 33.
I don t think it s a overkill, i think it s a must to have 2 hungry guys behind the aging superstars.

It would be a nice luxury to have Dembele as our 5th choice attack option, but unfortunately that's not how the real world works.

Neither party could afford for that to happen. Dembele would get the same or fewer amount of minutes that Malcom did last season and he wouldn't be happy playing even less than he already is. He cannot afford many more stagnant, non-developmental seasons. The club also cannot afford to allow a big money investment to depreciate even more than it already has as a 5th choice attacking option especially considering the wages he's on.

Not very practical.

I know you make sense, but i m also sure, that with any competent coach this could work. 4-2-3-1/4-4-2 with Griezmann/Neymar/Dembele on wings amd DJ/Busq - Arthur/Vidal in MF.

Suarez/Messi won t be here for much longer and we should plan for the future, not just for the next season.

This guy loves correcting other journalists as soon as any article is published but somehow he or the magazine he works for can almost never provide any detailed reliable information and are as trustful as sport and MD. Almost as if he is a fraud like Ojoooo :sherlock:

Another good source saying he's non-transferable.

You can post as many of these tweets as you want, but on a personal level do you believe with any conviction that Dembele will still be here next season if Neymar arrives?

As of now with only Griezmann being a sure bet I agree Dembele probably won't leave, but that could all change very quickly.

I'm not convinced Ney will return still. The rumors of him wanting to come back seem legit.

But I'm starting to doubt he's coming back myself. If the club told Dembele he's not being sold, then it's highly unlikely Ney will come back. Where're the funds going to come from? Selling Cou won't be enough either as rumors are PSG want around 300 Million euros.

Paying out the ass for a 28-year-old Neymar next season is a joke itself regardless if Dembele flops or not.

Dembele at best is an autopilot donkey. He can be stressfully useful in certain occasions but never a worthy superstar. The reason being he lacks good decision making, he seems to lack character, he seems to lack technique be it dribbling or shooting and his body is the exact opposite of a grounded in control dribbler like Messi and Tevez (his lower body is proportionally long compared to his upper body). I have highlighted how this guy is an utter failure for his price tag a year and a half ago and was bashed. Its ok. I am a visionary and it is naive to expect the majority of you to be the same

Really? all I see is nonsense and the laughable part is "I'm a visionary" yeah the shit he posted in the past was pure nonsense and still is.

Visions can be accumulated through the power of intuition. It can be much stronger than rationalization at times as it is the belief in an inner intelligence acquired through the subconscious and maybe through past lives (who am I to say it is not the case) .. believe in your inner voice and let this stray dog loose :)
