Dembélé has had everything against him since his move 2 years ago. Frequent and long-term injuries, age, not being part of the "club de amigos" clan, little support from that same clan, a clueless "manager" being at the "helm" of the club, no tactical system in place whatsoever other than looking for Messi nonstop, no consistency even when fit to play due to not getting the required chances/playing time etc.
Dembélé is yet to play a full game 2 games in a row and people here talk about him having had a real chance to prove himself.

What is even more "frightening" is that he has only played 6 full matches in 2 seasons. 2 of those 6 matches were Copa del Rey matches (early stages moreover). Rest league games against minnows. Pathetic.
More interestingly Dembélé did not play any part in our Roma or Liverpool fiascos and I am 100% sure that we would have progressed against Roma if Dembélé had started (no way that Roma would have played such an high line deliberately if Dembélé was playing) and likewise against Liverpool at Anfield. That will obviously never be proven but if I could bet on such outcomes, I would.
No player has ever been successful at the club (nor any other club for that matter) without the required playing time consistently. If even the likes of Messi had, had the same career path as Dembélé for more than 2 seasons, he would not have amounted to much and most likely he would have been sold as well and deemed a "flop".
This is not the proper way to develop a genuine world class talent that needs the few last elements to reach the highest level and refine his game. Not to mention basics like consistency and confidence.
poor ousmane,it's not like him acting unprofessional with being lazy and missing trainings,it's because he's not the part of "amigo" squad...
