I am not, I actually said Andersons position is the best on the left because his best season in 2014/2015 was played there.
And I said in a previous comment that Anderson isn't an alternative to Dembélé on the right. Want a quote on that?

No I personally think Dortmund should sell, but I think it's nice they stand their ground here and don't let themselves get bullied around.

Are verbal agreements binding in German law?

I know here in Scotland they definitely are

Clearly you are trying to fit the argument that Dortmund dont have options. Even in the 14/15 season, Anderson had 8 goals and 5 assists in 8 games on the right wing, while only 3 goals in 17 games on the left wing. He plays exclusively on the right these days. He's clearly a great alternative for Dortmund. Just like there are other alternatives for them.

please write them an email, tell them they should just go around and sign players at their will because it's fucking easy. I'm sure they'll hire you for being so smart.

Just poor excuses to justify these silly 150m valuations. There are replacement options, Dortmund know that of course. They are just having a laugh.

where did you get that "verbal agreement" from? Twitter?
He would've agreed to a release clause, had he really wanted out anyway, wouldn't he? Clearly fucked up, can't blame anyone but himself. :coffee:

Just because it's easy for us to write "Agree to a release clause" doesn't make it an easy thing in real life, I can easily write "Open spinal surgery" or "heart transplant", Yet doesn't mean their easy to perform.

The reason we rarely see release clauses outside of spain, Is because there is no agreeable and accurate formula to calculate a proper value for the clause, That can satisfy both parties
It's easy for a club to shoot itself in the foot if they ended up agreeing to a clause that eventually turned out less than what the player actually matured into or failed to account for future market, If dortmund put a release clause 4 times what they paid for him, He'll cost 60m now, A disaster in today's market.
It's also easy for the player to shoot themselves in the foot, If they agreed to a clause too high and overestimated their development and the future market. And they end up stuck, Might as well never had one.
Release clauses can be tricky enough to stop entire deals, That's why both the club and the players avoid them, That's why verbal agreements are much more common.
As i said in a previous post, Modric had a verbal agreement with tottenham, Masch and suarez with liverpool....etc

They dont need any input. They know there are plenty of alternatives. No one thinks Felipe Anderson is a great alternative on the left. He is a right winger. Let Dortmund keep an unhappy player if they want. Its not a good long term strategy and they will lose out in the end.

Sure, the only source on the planet that has access to what Dortmund's verbal agreements with their employers just happens to be a Barca-paper.

This has to be the poorest excuse on his behalf I've ever seen:
Let's just go through the players thought process. "Hmm, it's hard to determine my release clause. I might shoot myself in the foot. Oh I know it: Let's not have one. Yeah, that'll do. Now I don't have to worry about how high the option for me to go is, because haha I don't have a bloody option anymore."

FFS why are the Germans taking their anger out on us? Fine the kid his wages or something. Ridiculous to throw out the negotiation because the kid is acting like a twat.

What??
I clearly stated it's difficult find a release clause that can satisfy both parties, Because they're inherently risky, And can delay if not break negotiations and transfers, That's why it's easier for both parties to agree verbally, For things to move forward quickly.

You accuse me of making "The poorest excuse" you've seen, Only for you're rebuttal to be a mocking sarcastic paragraph?
