So did Watzke say they don't want as much money as quoted in the press(150m).

How much do they want then? 130m? 120m?

And what are Robert and co. doing by not even contacting them in almost two weeks now?

He just said the number is wrong so it could even be more. He also said that this transfer is more likely not to happen under 50%. So i guess the number must be pretty high if he is saying under 50%....

Need to wrap this one up and things will look much better. Game today showed how much we lack pace on the breakaway after Neymar left. Coutinho is about as slow as Alcacer, so stay away from him, please.

We wouldn't be buying Coutinho for his pace

What a transfer window this have been.

A total disaster

We're worse than we were before it started.

I think we'll get him. Looks like we're backing off from Coutinho and the board need to try to save their asses. They'll pay up in the end, though this'll probably drag until the end of the window. After Segura said that Coutinho and Dembele are close, if they fail to get either, they're finished.

Robert was photographed on a plane returning from Germany this morning.

Shouldn't a player also be expected to honor the contract that they've signed?

They should but it doesn't only work that way.
Very few sought-after players are bought when (or just before) their contracts expire.
The actual carrier of a player is relatively short, so in the best case the "human" kind of behavior is to let the player decide where and when he wants to play.
If you KNOW the player would rather play elsewhere, forcefully keeping him is bad for every party.
Money determines the game nowadays but it's even worse if LAW takes its place...
