As long as Messi refuses to renew his contract, I think the board are gone regardless. He can't back down from that now.

With the fee they paid for Dembele, they're also done if he takes any time to adapt. I'll be patient with him because he's 20 and missed preseason but it's probably a good thing the socios won't be.

Neymar was average in 2 of his 4 seasons and Real won the champions league in 3 of them so he didn't do us much good, I think we could be stronger without him.

Dembele is not at Neymar level of ability just yet but Villa wasn't on Zlatans level either but we were a better team with the Spaniard. I think Dembele has potential to be a better player for us than Neymar ever was.

I'd say he was one of our top 3 players in every season with us. Make no mistake, Dembele is a downgrade in the short term. Could be an upgrade in the long term since he's 5 years younger.

What I am happy about is that Dembele won't try to milk us dry. Sure not going to miss that rat Sneyke Sr.

this kid will be THE star in a few years. I hope we put a 500m+ buyout clause on him. very steep price for his age, I kinda hope Mbappe goes to PSG for 160m+ to take the edge off the Dembele fee but i think he'll be worth every penny in the long run. people laughed at the Pogba fee and now he looks like a bargain.

excited to see him playing for us, i hope we give him more freedom than we did Neyney.

Not to sound too pessimistic and judgemental but Dembele did cause as much trouble to his parent club (to come to Barca) as did Neymar Jr. to his........ only difference being Neymar Jr. (and Sneyke Sr.) did it to the club that made him the player that he is whereas Dembele has only been there for one year!
