According to transfermarkt he played 49 matches last season, scoring 10 and assisting 21, pretty good numbers. Of those 49 matches he played 23 as an attacking mid down the middle, (looking at transfermakt data Dortmund switched alot between 4-1-4-1 (or 4-3-3) and 3-5-2. Assuming Dembele played at the top of that midfield just behind 2 strikers when employed as the attacking mid), he played 15 games as LW scoring 2 and assisting 9, and played 9 as RW scoring 2 assisting 5. Seems to be he'd be perfect in Barca

Imagine Barto and his board having €222m in cash and they get Paulinho and Di Maria. I would drown myself. There is no excuse to not go after both Mbappe and Dembele with all the money they are about to get. Buy Coutinho + either Dembele or Mbappe this summer and get the other one next year.

There was a story we tried for Dembele last year but he refused. Find it fishy though.

I think so. he refused us for first team football which is fair enough, he's talked before about Barca being his dream once hes ready. so no doubt he'd jump at the chance to replace Neymar

Dembele wanted to play alot and Barcelona couldn't guarantee that's the big reason he refused because he liked Barcelona. Dortmund is a good club for young talents.
