Piqué: "Oh, Dembélé is here and he's not late? He usually isn't there when training begins." attitude problem? if true that wont help him either with valverde...

I do like Griezmann but really wish we'd focus on midfield because even without Suarez, Coutinho-Messi-Dembele trio would be a bomb.

Make that extra 10 mil. risk with Arthur, promote Alena. Maybe even get a proper workhorse if that's what coaches want.

Late to training  that reminds me how Klopp sent Sakho to reserves and never played him again until LFC sold him because he came late to some trainings. It's probably bs but it wouldn't surprise me that players aren't even bothered to show up on time for EV.

What? I have seen pics of trainings and Dembouz is usually walking onto pitch with Umtiti and Digne.

I call BS.

This is usual Pique giving shit to youngsters. He has been abusing Denis for years and now it's time for Dembele to recieve some Pique treatment. It's also possible that he is poking fun of him because he was absent for so long.

Don't turn a mouse into an elephant, when there is no proof. Especially if Pique is the one sending the information.

I remember back under Lucho when he had the late for training fine setup there was an article saying Pique was the dude who was always having to pay a fine because he was always late for training.

In this instance Pique is just joking around with Dembele no harm no less.

"Dembele can't dribble in tight spaces."

Here you see several examples of Dembele being closed down by two or three players, but gets away by using his creativity (nutmets or body feints). For those who say the Villareal scenario (the first goal) was an isolated case. The ability is in his toolkit, it's the job of Barcelona's staff and Dembele ofc to bring that out in his current team, rather forsaking through comments like "he doesn't fit the team."

Just watched the Iniesta ceremony. Pique was just rambling on and on and on and on about the players's WhatsApp group and that's where the comment was made jokingly. He also spoke about the fact that Ernesto is excluded from the group, that they are mostly speaking about schedules and that they use it to remind Dembele about times of trainings.

Alba was doing the hand gestures towards the players in the vein of: he just won't shut up. Quite hillarious actually.

They'll just ignore this

There's no doubt he's a good dribbler.

I think some people are often spoiled by just how good Messi is/was at Dribbling especially in his younger years. It's so hard to compare anyone to that standard because Messi was just unbelievable at getting away with dribbling 2-3+ guys with no issues.

Also there's guys out there who are incredible dribblers in tight spaces but are often lacking at the end product after the dribbling (Adama) those guys often end up dribbling for just the sake of it and not think about their next move. Neymar often struggled with this as well even when he was here, sometimes he overcomplicated the shit out of things when he really didn't need to.
