This kid threw a tantrum at Dortmund, thrashed Klopp's house, boycotted the team and his teammates, even though he had 4 more years on his contract. No responsible management should have paid such a price for a selfish brat that has no discipline, no patience and no respect for anyone.

Why is anyone surprised by his sulking and no discipline? Did anyone expect him to suddenly become a new person because he plays at Barca? Dortmund played us like a fiddle. Sold him for a ridiculous wage, which they used to completely re-build their team. They bought/got on loan Witzel, Delaney, Hakimi, Paco, Sancho, Zagadou, Akanji and Diallo for less combined money than it took to sell Dembele. All of those guys have been playing inspiring football, while Dembele does what he does when things don't go his way...act like a petulant child.

Him coming late is hard to excuse , but I think he just mentally checked out after he is the one that got sacrificed in order to play Arthur even though he had a very good start to the season. If we were to purely look at merit , Rakitic should have been the one to get benched with how trash he has been playing this season , but that ain't happening when you have a manager that picks players based on seniority rather than merit.

Heck Im not even sure we will see Semedo playing as well as he did against Sevilla with how he got dropped the moment Roberto was fit. Then we will see the same posters talk about how ''Semedo doesnt look motivated" etc..

Based on tactics, Coutinho isn't a Barca midfielder any more. midfield of Arthur-Raki-Busi works the best for us right now. So atm Dembele isn't even competing with rakitic, he is competing with Coutinho.
This is still a difficult situation for him, but it is a situation every player has to deal with at some point in his career, Dembele isn't used to that and right now his response for it has been poor.

How are you so certain about it when we never even tried to play Arthur-Coutinho as midfielders ? And again this midfield is working so well is because Arthur is doing amazing work there , Im fairly confident a midfield of Arthur- Busi/Vidal-Cou would work just aswell or even better.
