give him minutes as a sub for a while to run at tired teams so he regains his confidence and then start him. he still has a future here

Once I saw Real Madrid started the second half with a central defender replaced by a forward I knew Ousmane would come on and have a field day. And he didn't disappoint. Very good.

Dembélé: "In the last few games, I was on the bench, but I will hold on. That's what I miss, I also need to avoid losing the ball. Messi? He advises me, he tells me to play like I did in Dortmund, as I can do, to let go on the field. I am determined, last year I had a big injury, I have to prove and show myself in every game."

That's not another topic, you claim putting Coutinho on the right so that it wont sacrifice Iniesta. The problem is there are times where Iniesta could have had rests, Coutinho still played on the right or worst when he was benched against Las Palmas.
In short, I say Coutinho played on the right to accommodate Iniesta. Clearly, when both of them were on the pitch. And what do you come up with? Situations he could've rested Iniesta and play with Coutinho on the left? Who's talking about that? Certainly not me. As I said, another topic. You talk about resting, I talk about playing.

He had no intention of playing him on the left. Clearly Valverde sees these new players as gap fillers, and not looking at the team.
What's that supposed to mean? If he had no intention of playing him on the left, as you claim, and it had nothing to do with Iniesta, why wouldn't he play him there now? It's clear why Coutinho played there.

So isnt your best 11 with Coutinho on the LW, Messi on the right? Then how come u supported Coutinho on the RW now? By your logic, isnt that playing Suarez out of position to suit Coutinho? And worse! Coutinho doesnt even play on the right? All jumbled up  shooting yourself in the own foot really.
You're reading too much into my post. (1) Where did I say what my best 11 were? (2) I supported playing Coutinho on the right in 4-4-2, as stated in my post. In order to accommodate Ineista. Nothing to do with Suarez. Nothing jumbled up.

Etc. Etc.

Glad he's still alive! Think he could start easily seeing Rafinha not making impact and with such an open match from the start.

He needs a consistent starting spot to develop. And he wont get one (rightfully so?!). Unless you want to push out Arthur/Coutinho. Bad luck for him.

He plays RW/LW what Arthur has to do with it? With Messi's injury he should have got more minutes, instead, EV wasted it on a player we are desperately want to sell. EV works in mysterious ways!

EV works to win.
Winning while Dembele is in the starting 11 is way harder.

With Dembele: more magic, more chaos in your team, weaker defense.
Without Dembele: less magic, more balance allround, better defense, still enough attacking power upfront.

Dembele's allround flaws are currently bigger than his occasional moments of a genius which he is bringing attacking wise.
