It's bullshit. Why would PSG EVER consider That?

It is bullshit, but PSG do need to sell for around 170M to balance their books.

So, it won't be a surprise if they sell someone, now whether it is Mbappe/Neymar or some fringe player is yet to be seen. Or who knows, maybe Supreme leader Nasser buys them out of this problem as well.

Did Dembouz learn language? On the pitch he is very good, but succeed in club, you also have adopt to life in the city, culture, language, pure example is Ter saven!
It has been year and half since he arrived and i am not sure he moved in his head to Barcelona. i hope i am wrong because he is diamond.

Ever since this guy benched Coutinho, we have stopped conceding goals. Does the Dembele threat cause the opposition to be more cautious when attacking? He certainly gives us something different which Coutinho does not.

exactly this... which is why valverde was foolish not to start him in the second leg against roma. even if he's just a bystander in the game his presence has to be respected

I am still of the opinion, that we should revert back to playing 4-4-2.

--------------------Suárez--------------------Messi--------------------
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Coutinho---------Busquets-------------------Vidal-----------Dembélé
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
---Alba-------------Umtiti--------------------Piqué------------Semedo
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------ter Stegen------------------------------

Our team was much more balanced last season, hence why we conceded fewer goals. Had Messi not been rested against Levante, we would have remained undefeated in La Liga. The defeat against Roma was unfortunate, but it wasn't due to us playing 4-4-2

4-4-2 is a bit of a outdated system, because of the requirement of having 3 men in midfield. Crossing should be a major asset when employing a system like that, and in our case is arguably our weakest weapon going forward. Messi would also not behave like a striker in a system like that, and we would basically look like some chaotic form of 4-5-1, unless we find ourselves a midfielder who can push up and act like a forward, whenever Messi is bored of staying top without some action going his way. I'm sorry but a system like that would be a monstruosity against a decent side. We would struggle to create 3-4 decent chances in a game. That Roma disaster game with the 4-4-2 should at least make us abandon this system for good.

The 4-4-2 is useful when you have great crossers and great pure strikers. Madrid played this to great effect at times because all their 4 players on the wings are some of the best crossers in the game. Players like Marcelo, Carvajal, Bale, Kroos, or even Isco are probably 10/10 at crossing. And Ronaldo is probably 10/10 at claiming space inside the box and heading ability, as well as speculating ricochets from 2nd balls.

With 4-4-2 you have few problems arriving in wide position with enough space to place a good cross, but for most teams, including ours, volume crossing brings you jack shit. It's a bit of an art that has been used by Zidane because he had the perfect players for it.

Amen to this. Valverde finally trusting and using him after a year doesn't change how an idiot he was before. Balance my ass. :)

We still seem dodgy on the defensive end but the Dembele-Suarez-Messi frontline gives me some old MSN vibes despite Messi and Suarez having aging legs.

Messi and Suarez were never the fastest players but Neymar was the guy who brought the pace and technical ability on the LW to help make up for some of Suarez and Messi's shortcomings. Dembele is right now that guy to help provide that outlet.

The 4-5-1 we played when Messi was injured worked for a little while but while you gain some control but you lose a lot of speed and danger when the other team makes the pitch smaller which renders us toothless.

The difference Dembele brings to the front line over Coutinho is big and it forces the other team to be more cautious due to it. Never was a fan of the idea that we can just field a slow front line of Coutinho/Rafinha-Messi-Suarez and have the CMs play conservatively and having to rely on the Fullbacks to do the wing work. there's just so much the likes of Alba/Roberto/Semedo can do in those situations.

When Suarez was injured, Messi seemed to enjoy working with Dembele much more than Coutinho who looked barely involved at times.

Just bring back the Dembele-Messi-Malcom, its definitely an upgrade from Suarez stopping all our attacks, and can be deadly if we had the right system.
