Teams have too much power these days. Players should have their say If they want to leave.

If anything, it's the other way around. You don't want to stay with a club for the next 5 years? Don't sign a 5 year contract then. I see more of a "always go for the higher bidder irregardless of your current situation with your club" at the moment, and I think it's hurting football. Of course you can't force a player to stay with your club if he really wants to leave, but when does that ever happen (except Verrati)?

All players should have market related release clauses. In that way both the club and player are protected...

Market related based on what?

That’s for the teams/players and authorities to decide but every player should have a release clause that is not as ridiculous as the Madrid ones.

With the amount of real time statistics going around it wouldn’t be hard to factor in market relationships for players of similar position and quality based on historical (inflation adjusted) sale patterns.

For example if Neymar is sold for 200 Million. Messi’s release clause cannot be 700 Million because he is not worth 500 Million more based on performances and age.

Its not like the players are forced to sign contracts without a clause or a ridiculous high one. If they do they should at least respect it to some degree. The clubs invest a lot, they often have to pay a lot of money to get a player and pay them very high salaries, so players shouldn't be able to walk out "cheap" whenever they feel like it. The other way around players can just not accept a transfer and collect their money like Arda so then suddenly contracts become contracts again.

Spanish press keen on Dembele to Liverpool. If Barca sell him they automatically owe the remainder of the outstanding clauses to Dortmund. That potentially means the Catalan side hand over half of any transfer fee immediately..

Because till now in Barca's shirt, ALL Dembele's good games were in matches where he had lots of space for counters and for running with a ball in his feet for 30-40 meters and dribbling through defenders.

Whenever an opponent parked a bus, Dembele more or less hadn't create anything till now.

Basically, for now, against parked buses:
1. if he gets the ball around the box on the right side: he can try to run a few meters and cross. But since we have short players, crosses aren't a good idea
Or, he can do the same and play a backpass to the edge of a box for Messi, which is predictable.
2. he can receive the ball (without running for a few meters) and just pass it back in the middle to the edge of the box where Messi or Iniesta always wait for the ball. Predictable.
3. or, the best case, he can try to dribble through a parked bus or try a 1-2 AGAIN with someone at the edge of a box, which is predictable and easy to intercept

So, basically, when we play against parked buses, the only "unpredictable" and useful thing from him (for now) is if he'll try to dribble through 3-4 defenders in a parked bus.
Our game in general is too predictable, one-dimensional, you need to pass to Messi in every action, we can't cross, we can't play counters with a possession sytle.
Plus Dembele is a counterattacking player for teams like BVB.

For example, yesterday against a parked bus:
Rakitic is not good against parked buses.
Iniesta is past it.
Semedo can't do anything against parked buses.
Dembele can't do too much against parked buses.
Alba is lost without Messi.
Luis can't do anything regardless if they park a bus or not.
So, basically we only had Busquets who can make a good pass here and there and Coutinho, the only guy suitable to play against parked buses and who has weapons for that style of play (OTHER than passing to Messi in each action).

The first goal against villareal literally happened because he dribbled out of a congested area of 3-4villareal players lmao.

Clubs like Dortmund poach young talented players with the intention of selling them for high prices. If you're a highly sought youngster Dortmund's going to make sure you sign a 4+ year deal so they can cash out on it. If you read the Klopp's correspondence with Dortmund's director, you'll find out that they had already intended to sell Dembele to the highest bidder last summer, but only held out because they wanted to see how much cash they'd be able to get from Barcelona. It's naive to think Dortmund felt betrayed, they accomplished a mission they set out from the very start.
