He is part of pooor squad planning.
Completely differnt player to Dembele.. cant go on outside and not a threat when wide 1v1 so the issue of him not fitting is even more pronounced when Xavi sets up tactics for a Dembele like player on right.
Made worse by fact Barca have no RBs that can take width high up park and cross the ball... instead they chase Azpi all summer then moronically sign Bellerin and then fall back on a CB who is average at best on ball.
An attacking right back, DM, younger striker and RW that closer resembles Dembele profile of pace/dribbling etc is what should have been bought last summer.
All was said at time and now Barca have holes in squad cant fill as spent on wrong players for what was needed last summer and cant spend in same way this summer.
Will be summer of doubling down on the poor money spent last summer and some more old legs... same as ever Barca boards dont think long term and want instant success resulting in too many bad decisions.

He would fit Chelsea well if they put James back to att RB on outside and he gets back on form.
Should be an absolute no brainer to sell him to Chelsea if got 60/70m and then buy wide players with more dribbling, pace and who can go on outside.
If Messi arrives back can see him doing Gavis role but on the right but same old issue with Messi there... need an attacking RB to take width or that side of team has no structure.

Why would this story have anything to do with Chelsea being punted out of Europe?
They have been linked with Gavi, FDJ and Raphinha plenty over last few months anyway.

Yet they were coming out with same stories about Barca players even before than and no one expected Chelsea to win anyway so little changed.
