11 - Raphinha

Waiting for some English sources before getting excited. You just know the fee will be way below what the Catalan press are currently touting. Already they are polling if we would be happy with selling him for 75m. That's right, we already lost 5m to a fuckin poll.

Yes, but even 55-60 is more than enough
The objective is to cover amortization so that it doesn't appear as a loss in the books
he signed for 58m fixed for 5 seasons, that's 11.5m amortized per season

which means that anything over 47m is good

Some profit can be made.

But let's not fool ourselves.
The big objective is removing his wages to meet FFP

No they will be hoping to make a profit and if they sold Raphinha on next seasons books for 70m that would improve the salary cap siruation by around 45m and then 20m odd for next couple seasons.

Relax. La liga in the bag, prime years, saved leeds from relegation.. newcastle needs one transfer like city got with robinho to make things go. I believe if we want to sell him, we'd get 70+ easily

Selling
Sell Raphinha and start the season again with Dembele, who will be injured in 4 months?

Bingo. Selling Raphinha to go back to Ferran defeats the whole point of signing Raphinha in the first place.

If Messi comes in the end, it makes sense as Messi will provide more output than Raphinha. But in the event that he doesn't come then we effectively took levers to buy players like Raphinha, and then a year later have to sell off Raphinha to pay off the drop in revenue thanks to the levers

Selling Ferret and Fati woud be my first task and then to complete treble it would be Rapinha for 75mil.

Ferret for 20mil, Ansu 30-40mil and Rapinha for 75mil is 130mil.

Abde and Carrasco as LW, Dembele and player like Chuckuweze or someone on RW.

If Messi doesn't come, they will go for Bernardo again who will receive the 1/3 of Messi's reported wage
