Nonsense.
No one 'saved the club' as been said many a time. There was no danger to the club unless ignore the clear ways out the financial problems.
Anyone that came in would have to have had taken a loan and would have to have reduced the salaries. From there.. levers or investment were most likely ways out.
Taking out a loan and selling off levers to spend on players is not the miraculous turnaround as made out and in long term levers may not even prove to be the the best path either. Some very qualified people left the club as did not believe it to be.
Barto made a ton of mistakes an gave out too many poor contracts but in reality the board were also left MATS, Araujo, Balde, FDJ, Pedri, Gavi, Dembele and La Masia in best state it had been in years with players developing there.
Also these levers were in part possible due to moves the previous board took in setting up Barca Studios and also splitting BLM. Both of which Laporta himself paid big credit for and the foresight for.
