Nonsense.

No one 'saved the club' as been said many a time. There was no danger to the club unless ignore the clear ways out the financial problems.

Anyone that came in would have to have had taken a loan and would have to have reduced the salaries. From there.. levers or investment were most likely ways out.

Taking out a loan and selling off levers to spend on players is not the miraculous turnaround as made out and in long term levers may not even prove to be the the best path either. Some very qualified people left the club as did not believe it to be.

Barto made a ton of mistakes an gave out too many poor contracts but in reality the board were also left MATS, Araujo, Balde, FDJ, Pedri, Gavi, Dembele and La Masia in best state it had been in years with players developing there.

Also these levers were in part possible due to moves the previous board took in setting up Barca Studios and also splitting BLM. Both of which Laporta himself paid big credit for and the foresight for.

Facts.

We are at a point where the club is in more danger when it actually has money to spend. If we got our money back or a small profit, great but to then waste it bringing back Messi or even worse, Dani Olmo.. can't trust those in charge.

Dani Olmo lol, the only reason the club might ever sign him is on a free.

Xavi clearly rates him and it makes sense to try and wait for free transfer now.

Anyway he is not as bad as made out and better than likes of Gavi in that role but the issue is if dont have others with pace and expect him to be wide player.

Olmo for free as a squad option at AM type areas is fine.

Free transfer chief... worth on that rather than paying a fee.

'Free transfer' refers to not paying a club a fee. Always has and always will.

Of course he wont be free on the books.

None of them are.

Do better numpty.

Xyz aren't free because on the books blah blah blah.

Now it's "free transfers" no fucking shit, that's what the entire world means by free transfers.

But nah you gotta try to argue everything like the big Sissy 40 year old waste man that you are, 😂😂.

I have never ruled out the option of Olmo, I like him and he’d fill a role we don‘t currently have in midfield and that’s a direct scoring threat from midfield who can press and link with attacking players. Coming from La Masia is a bonus and he went out the front door unlike others - I understand Xavi’s interest

However, I see this as a long shot as a lot can happen in 12 months - although RB probably will seek to profit this summer rather than lose him without a fee

The way he left was not any different than others and regardless of what club and Xavi have said in past that wont impact them trying to sign former players anyway.

Yes their salaries count on the books and they were 'free transfers' as no fee paid to any club.

Basic stuff.

Labouring on a point that makes you look a numpty.

Keep at it.

"Olmo for free as a squad option at AM type areas is fine"

Other posters

"We got kessie & Christensen on a free."

Also jamdav, because he has nothing better to do but Argue on Barca forum

"Christensen & kessie aren't free because we pay their salary" 😂.

Anyways I'm done with this now, just knew you'd put your foot in your mouth the moment you said that & just like clock work you did.

Olmo on a free is an opportunity we should take because it is value - even if he isn't the best out there, the chances of being able to resell him for a good fee is high. Get him in on a short term deal and give him a season in that LM role, if he works great, if he doesn't..

He can perform decently and sell for like 30-40m after a season I'm sure.
