Beautiful free-kick. At first I thought keeper could have done better but that is extremely harsh - was very near the top corner. Was lovely to watch that goal.

To be fair the Colombian goal was pretty nice too.

Don't really know what to think. I like Raph and would like to keep him in rotation with Nico and Yamal but OTOH we need to sell someone before buying and right now he's probably the most likely option to get big money. Wouldn't sell for less than 70m though and doubt Villa is willing to pay that much.

If we are buying Nico, Raphinha has to go. There is no way we can keep him, Nico, and Yamal happy while having other players on the bench for rotation.
Plus if he goes we surely can fund Nico's transfer, which will be a better deal for us.

If its the only way to get Nico, then sell. Nico wohld be a big upgrade. But if we can sell the Polish choker, Ferran and Ansu, then they should go before Raphinha.

We should really try to keep Raphinha and get rid of Ferran if possible. Yamal will need to take it easy at times to avoid burnout and Raphinha is a good player to have.

Many limited players are sold for more than 80m. All but a select 2-3 wingers are limited in some areas anyway, doesn't mean much.

I'm thinking me might be the odd man out at the start of the season and even more so when everyone is fit.

To start the season, or maybe I'll drop gundogan back for Casado to have experience players in the starting XI, in which case he will start.

But once Gavi, pedri and De Jong gets back, he will have to fight for a place in the starting, I can see him getting good minutes, but across the 3 behind lewa and not nailing down any specific starting position.

Another bonus of signing Olmo, that one signing means there will be more competition for starting places, which can only be a good thing.
