11 - Raphinha

No but Diaz hit the ground running at Liverpool. Wasn’t like he needed time to adjust to the system or league or whatever. Just great from minute 1.

Hit the ground running because the team is already there and polished. If the team would've been a mess, he'd have a very hard time making an instant difference.

Any good player that is put in a team operating at such high levels as Liverpool will deliver the goods.

Some players make a transition to the highest level, some don't. It's not a given Raphinha will.

Would be a shame to miss on him on a discount though. We need wingers.

True, better to go for him even though Dembele is renewed or not. We need quality squad depth

If Leeds do go down, Alemany needs to be standing with 25M in a suitcase when their last game of the season ends, and with everything already set up with Deco. Cause there's gonna be a lot of teams willing to activate that release clause, and we can't waste a second in that case.

I think Leeds will survive with Everton going down looking at the schedules of Everton/Leeds/Burnley who are in that relegation fight

I dont know. Leeds just lost and still has to play Chelsea, Arsenal and Brighton (who are 9th and have looked good). Everton I think has 2 less games played and their opponents are generally weaker. We can always hope Leeds blows a few more games.

Leeds will probably go down if I were to guess. It was looking like Burnley but they have pulled out the rabbit from the hat with those 3 back to back to back wins.

How do you justify him being a better dribbler when he has a far lower dribbling success ratio than Dembele which is 68.5% to 43.9% (and dribbling success isn't about team quality cause Adama, Grealish and the likes always had better success ratio in Aston Villa and wherever they were). For passes, his average for the last 6 seasons is 70% and we're trying to pin in on Leeds but that's his average for the last 6 seasons in different clubs (players like Deulofeu, Malcom, Grealish all have better success rates of 77% and above and that's taking account of their previous 6 seasons too in poor clubs like Watford, Aston Villa, and the likes). We'll see how he performs when he gets here but I think he's not up to Dembele and I hope I'm wrong if we sign him.

Can't argue with the stats. Just going by the eye test. Watched alot of Lille last season but less than a handful of Leeds this year, where under Marsch they look in free fall and are hard to judge as team talents.
