His lucky goals since Dembele got injured never fooled me. Xavi should be fired just for signing him and Ferret.

Neither he nor dumbele are anything above "average wingers ". Look at Vinicius in the 2 goals they scored. Takes the ball wherever in the pitch and his immediate instinct since the First touch is to drive the ball towards the middle of the Parc so that he can disrupt defense and have all of the passing lanes-options open.
The average winger first instinct is to drive the ball to the safety zone near the side ref. That's what both raphinha and demebel do every time.. what Henry calls talking to the corner flag. All world class wingers take the slightest opportunity to move inside . If u gonna trash raphinha please for sanity sake choose a better comparative model than demebel. For all I care at least raphinha has great intensity/stamina and is actually available to play all the time.
Demeble / fati / torres all trash. The first for never been there to begin with to play, the latter 2 for self evident reasons.

Weird take, Vini literally had a free space to run and was already in the middle for the first goal (was more like 2 v 2 or 3 vs 3) and the last goal was basic 3 vs 2 so we had just 2 defenders, any winger would drive to the middle while the other two take space (literally the only logical thing to do). Dembele has done that kinda run plenty of times, like against Sevilla (made that run and created a goal for Lewa, which Lewa chipped), against Real-Sociedad (assisted Lewa), against Viktoria Plzen (Lewa missed a 1v1), against Inter (Raphinha didn't shoot well) even against Madrid in La-Liga first leg after he and Raphinha swapped wings in the second half (did the first dribble against Kroos and was driving to the middle before Vini took the ball from him when he was off balance, he tried again and was fouled by Tchomeni in front of the 18 and this was after Raphinha was kept quiet in the game while playing the rw). These are some instances I can remember, the point is Dembele is levels above any other winger in Barca, and the timing of his injury was messed up so we'll need to get other wingers that can take defenders on in the Summer if we're serious about competing.

This guy is so bad man.
Was worth taking a hit on him for 15-20 mil of whatever the fee was supposed to be if Leeds would have relegated but we had no business paying close to 60 mil for him , holly shit.
This is his first season for a top team and maybe he can improve but I just don't see it. His dribbling level as a brazilian is disasterclass.

Rare to have a like-for-like backup/rotation. Xavi has to adapt the tactics for each option, just as he has(should!) adapt the midfield to play without Pedri or FdJ. There's no like for like for them either.
But if Xavi wants a similar, get to feet and run winger, should have just loaned Adama again and save the money. But Raphi output has been good, even if he is a poor option in a 2 man offensive line against top teams.

He is a Brazilian national team player, ffs. The reason why he is not doing that well is because he is following ?inshallah? tactics from Xavi. Perhaps he should be used differently? Perhaps it is not his game to pass defenders and cross the ball in to one player who?s marked by 3 defenders?
It is hardly a coincidence that Torres, Fati, and Lewa are all struggling under Xavi. Our system, if you want to call it that, does not complement our attackers.
