11 - Raphinha

Last one didn't count as an opta assist but whatever, he fighted and got the ball back.

It seems La Liga official website has him with 9 assists this season, which means they counted it (they may change it though). And official numbers are the one it counts.

I don’t think theres a LW I would rather have right now. Crazy considering where we came from.

Also because him and Lamine are completely different profiles. It's basically what you want. A winger with on the ball and dribbling ability, and one with end product that is tireless off the ball.

these close games are not his best but he can still deliver dearly crosses and defends with his heart.
I noticed he also moved to the right so lamine can operate centrally when ferran was subbed in. I like this twist, adds another headache to the defenders.

This guy's mentality is something else. He's still pressing in the 97th minute even though we were up 3-2, resulting in a 4-2 scoreline.

Wih a player with his mentality, you will never lose hope even if you're down 0-3 or 0-4.

Brazil play Argentina on Thursday the 26th. No chance Raphinha misses that. Guess we'll have to to without him for Osasuna if it stands on Friday the 27th

Surely LaLiga would also schedule a date for Real if Vinicius/Rodrygo/Endrick etc were not available in the crunch time phase of the league.

It doesn't matter who wears the armband, he is our true captain. Without a doubt.

He was doing pretty good under Xavi, but I always felt that we wasn't able to unlock his potential. Flick knew exactly how to use him and Raphinha delivered BIG TIME. He became such a consistent and most importantly decisive player for us, I couldn't even imagine that in his first 2 seasons here (although as I said earlier I think he was doing pretty good even in these days). Pair this with an absolute exemplary mentality and professionalism and you get a serious Ballon d'Or contender and a possible future club legend. Both depends mostly on our ability to claim some major silverware this season and in the future.
