13 - Iñaki Peña

As Pole of course I'm not objective but to me every strong shot not directly to him = goal. Every single corner or cross = panic.

As others said, Flick will probably replace him once he makes blunders.

Isn't fair to throw him under the bus for no apparent reason. Sends a wrong message to other teammates.

Clasico will be a hard test for him.

Would think a manager needs to be proactive rather than waiting for disaster. Don't change what's not boken but it's clear Inaki is very insecure whether it's saving shots, picking crosses or even playing out the back.

Flick needs to be ruthless and start Tek v Madrid. Anybody can see we won't have long term success this season with Pena in goal.

We are used to playing with insecure keepers. Done this for nearly a decade. It is what it is, what matters is to not hand huge gifts to the opponent. Those blunders can ruin a match in an instant. You only need one fuck-up to lose a match, check Monaco. So far, Pena held his own.

Doesn't concede super-cheap goals by freezing on goal, and while his passing is inconsistent, and his decision making when to rush out and pick the ball and when to stand his ground closer to the line is also questionable to say the least. But he didn't feck up.

Maybe it's a matter of time until he does, but one tough match is done with, and if he survives on Saturday without any big errors, then our schedule is gonna get easier.

It would be funny/fucked up, if woj came out of retirement only to be benched the entire season for pena or only coming in after pena cost us an opportunity to win the CL or league.

I think the last thing we need is Pena in a red hot Bernabeu. He's getting flustered flapping away catchable crosses when 4-1 up at home. How is he going to be away?

No way Flick drops him now though, so we just got to ride this one out for one more big night.

Luckily Courtois is out on the other end, Lunin is good, but he doesn't have those world class stops in him.

: "Iñaki Peña has earned a starting spot for El Clasico. A great performance for him, as he continues to shine. He doesn't have Ter Stegen's quality, but he's not afraid to come out of his goal."

What game was this guy watching?

He was comin out awfully, always many meters away from his goal, w/o good judgment when to come out and when not

Plus, did you see that disallowed Kane goal? Any decent keeper saves this.
Plus another 2-3 nervy saves

He is a bomb, waiting to happen

More scared of him any time Bayern had the ball than Jack Nicholson in Kubrick’s movie. Really shining.
One of my favourite films. Both the short European cut and the longer American one.

Half the time the guy handles the ball like he's playing in the snow.

He is making shit loads of errors every game, the only difference is is that the opposition isn't capatalizing on the errors.

Letting Bayern players get on to through balls which were keepers ball ( Fans in the stadium and Inigo were pointing this out ). Coming out on other occasions when the defenders have the situation under control. Flapping at every cross, even if it's straight at him. Generally, not saving any semi difficult shot.

This situation irks me. If they genuinely think he is playing okay, then that is a problem.

If they want to wait until the opposition capatilize on his mistakes so as not to hurt his feelings, then that's a bigger fucking problem.

If they genuinely think he is better than Tec, then I have no words.

Punt him to the bench. If he is realistic about his level then he should be doing cartwheels of joy that he is even on the Barca bench, let alone fortunate enough to have had first team game time, as he is miles off being even an average goalkeeper.

Especially since a win here is close to a knockout punch in La Liga
