No. Keep in mind that Masch is about 5'8 feet tall and that is a very short height for a CB. He will get dominated during corner kicks and during crosses, as you saw in Copa Del Rey. I may be wrong, but I think height is one of the most important factors for being a CB. He should stick to DM and he and Busi should rotate for that position. As for cb, we definitely need a backup.

He's such a good player in any defensive position.. Mascherano is awesome at CB which is great for 2 reasons:
1) we fill in a gap there
2) Badger gets many more minutes

Puyol; Pique, Abidal, Mascherano, Fontas -> we don't need another CB.

I dont like Fontas at all-an inferior version of Pique-not fast enough. Batra is better

Can't underestimate his great sportsman attitude: despite spending loads of time on the bench (at least the 1st half of this season), Masch always give everything whenever called up on the pitch. A truly great professional.

definitely reliable for tomorrows game, even in CB position. those slide tackles in Copa final were astonishing, and in Osasuna game he recovered most balls (14).
