Mascherano is a machine. The protection he offers us back there can not be taken for granted. He covered Pique when he stepped up to intercept a ball and Bayer won the ball back and had a counter - opp. Ran all the way from midfield to get cover. He doesn't need any attention, just shows up and does his job with so much pride.

The journalist's question was: Has Pep advise you to stop talking about refs? After 8 minutes, no one had mentioned the refs.

After that most of the spanish journalists criticized Mascherano, saying that they are have to ask this stupid questions because Pep and the team won't give them interviews. Seriously, how stupid are the journalists and how smart is Mascherano? One of the best signings we ever made.

his consistency of playing fanastic games week in week out is just unbelivable. he is ALWAYS so good, whether he playes with pique, puyol, 3man defence... he is always the man. also his work rate and willing to learn every little thing is also worth a mention. he is like a grade C student who works his ass off to be at the same level with other barcelona players who are grade A and just skip the classes, hanging out and just being awesome.
