Considering he wasn't on the pitch for the 1st goal, i'm not sure how that's possible...

Edit: :lol: I forgot we just lost 3-2, ignore me. I'll have to check the goals out again. Surely him deflecting a shot isn't his fault though.

That was a Jordi Castro goal, I only blame him and his poor positioning for the last goal but thats what you get when you put midfielders in defence.

He's good at tackling and recovering balls, that's it. His positioning as a central defender is dreadful and his passing pfff...don't even want to talk about it.

WHY DIDN'T WE? He was 10 million Euros (half of what we paid for Song) and from the Ajax Academy which play the exact same system Barca does so he'd be up to speed by the end of preseason. Mascherano is no CB. Just look at the goal in extra time... he was infront of the goal scorer and the ball went by him and neither he or Valdes could stop it.
