Unfortunately, we're really the only team that allows such things. We're still better than every other team with Masche so our coaches are not really trying hard to improve things. But luckily, the coaches seem to see lately that Masche is not really an option for our central defense. That decision by Roura in the last match was very brave.

Well after the purchase of Song, I'm willing to bet that Mascherano playing as a midfielder is completely off the table unless there is some wild injury concern. Masch is our Puyol backup these days and I wonder how many more errors he's gonna have to make for Bartra or Muniesa to get a chance.

Howedes would be a great signing for Barca he can play CB and FB but no way would Hoewedes kick Badstuber out, Badstsuber had been on fire prior to his injury against Dortmund

Badstuber on fire? Yeah he was on fire against Italy in the Euros and against Sweden when Germany conceded 4 goals. He might even not get back into the Bayern first team easily with Dante giving great performances. Any other coach would have benched him but Jogi loew is stubborn like Tito

No way can you put the Euro game vs Italy on Badstuber without putting blame on Hummels either the latter who completely gave up from the 70th minute, the Sweden was a a rubbish game for him and also the rest of the squad, He will line up with Dante when he gets back like he has been since start of the season. And yes he has been on fire in the bundesliga hence Bayerns team has one of the best records and are 11 points ahead of Dortmund.

Bayerns best backline is Lahm-Boateng-Dante-Alaba. Badstuber will have to fight for a spot. Badstuber was played on the left back but now Alaba is back
And Badstuber failed to mark Balotelli and didnt even jump. Howedes has the potential to dethrone him

That's not true. Badstuber is a lot better than Boateng and when he's fit and Alaba is as well, he's played in central defense.

I don't think he's a valuable option as a CB and Song is certainly the better replacement for Busquets. The best thing to do right now is giving Bartra and Muniesa playing time and selling Masche. We could even buy Botia back until our 2 youngsters are ready to step up..

Once again inept defending. Lost his mark who scored the goal. He has been consistently mediocre this season. He looks out of his depth and there is little hope of him improving. Thats what happens when you stick a DM at CB. Why does Bartra rot on the bench while Masch stinks it up. We will never know if Bartra is good or not by sticking him on the bench. Surely he cant be much worse than Mascherano.
One can only pray that Pique and Puyol remain fit for important matches and we get a CB next summer.

Mascherano wasn't responsible for the goal, Didn't do anything wrong,, Most including me admit that he hasn't been impressive this season, But it's getting redundant looking at comments accusing him for every single goal we concede, It's annoying quite frankly.
If bartra is better than mascherano, He would have taken his spot by now, It is actually that simple, There is no reason in the world why would tito bench the better player and play the worse one, This isn't a street club, Where you only allow your 'pals' to play, This is the biggest club in the world, Competing across all competitions, 'Emotions' and 'Conspiracy theories' don't exist.

Do we have any use for him anymore? Surely this summer a new CB will be bought and possibly a la masia cb will be given more time next year. basically we won't need him as a cb and after paying 19 million for song I assume he is busquets primary placement at CDM. The days of mascherano playing CDM seem to be long gone. I wonder if we even needed song? What was so wrong with Masch at CDM? Doesn't he play there for Argentina? Having said that I do like song so perhaps buying him was a good move and we can make back some of the money on mascherano.
