What do you make of Masch's comments?
"Mascherano: "The atmosphere around the team is very negative, even when we win, so it's our duty to be positive and show personality."

Does he mean the press?

Be positive and show personality bout this kind of crappy performance?

Guess he means what Tata called the "weekly crisis". Tbf he didn't seem too happy in most of his comments in the past few weeks and months, I wouldn't be surprised if he really did leave soon.

Thats what I thought. I just hope he didn't mean anything deeper, like divisions within the dressing room or something...
About his past comments, I think he knows he starting to become a liability. The way he apologizes after a mistake in the press is evident of that.

Not till Tata overcomes his man crush on him. We might have to get rid of Tata to get rid of Masch

Made exactly the same mistake against Ajax with the second goal. I look forward to the day a Barcelona coach realizes Mascherano is not a centre back but a liability. We still need 2 new centre backs. Mascherano isn't up for the job and Puyol can hardly play one game a week. Bartra should be a starter in the important games next to Pique. He is responsible and good enough to clean up Pique's mess.

He made exactly the same mistake MULTIPLE times against Ajax and Athletic. He does it 4-5 a match, he's just lucky those teams aren't deadly.

I wasn't paying attention enough to see how stupid of a clearance that was.

it was indeed a poor clearance... but if we're looking for somebody to blame, then how about adriano for not putting any pressure on herrera once he retrieved the ball? or busquets losing track of susaeta? or pique lunging in with a sliding tackle when he could've easily intercepted the pass if he stayed on his feet?

imo this was rather an addition of many little defensive errors rather than a major individual brainfart

In a way they both are deadly, I mean, they beat us because of those mistakes...

Exactly. He's been doing this consistently for a long period now. Even in the clasico he made one or two really poor passes, which easily could've led to a goal.

His passing is so awful... can't believe this guy is playing for us.

I actually think his passing his pretty damn good tbh Not the neat little passes but his long diagonal ones are usually spot on.

Funnily enough I read something last week about him staying behind for 30 minutes each day , just to practice his long passing .

I dont think his passing is awful all the time he has a bad pass here and there but i think his decision making is the awful thing because even against Athletic he did find his target in Cesc but it was the wrong decision because Cesc/Iniesta were too heavily pressed for that kind of pass.
