Not even close really. Everyone saw who was the true leader of Argentina. All that political mumbo jumbo went right out the window and I hated seeing Messi put in that situation to lead when he is clearly not a leader. He is the GOAT footballer and sometimes the line gets crossed in thinking that because he is the best he should also be a leader. Trying to make him something he's not and it's so obviously forced.
Why can't they just let the boy do what he does best... play football?
