If the news about Mascherano are true, and I believe they are, I could not be happier. My favorite team, Barça has now my three favorite players: Milito, Messi, and Mascherano. How good is Masche? I do need to praise him; you'll see.

The combination of Mascherano and Busquets is excellent. Masche is the quintessential "5." In other words, from the midfield, back. Busquets is form the midfield, up.

Make no mistake about it, I liked Yaya a lot, but he is gone. We now have three quality DMs; players we can rotate to compete in all three fronts: La Liga, Copa del Rey, and the Champions League. Too bad about Cesc, but it is the opportunity for Thiago Alcantara, in order to rotate him with Xavi and Iniesta.
