If we take Bergvall word then he himself changed his mind when Xavi said he was stepping down.

Not much to do then. He looks a bit more advanced than Casado so not really a comparison. They wouldn't be stepping on each others toes. And we have alot of competition further forwards, though he may have grabbed those Pablo Torre minutes.

But anyways I don't think either is missing each other. We are doing very well without him while he's getting minutes at Spuds. If course Spuds are not Barca.

Ship has sailed now.

I believe Gavi is more of a hybrid 6 & 8. He will pair well with Pedri in the double pivot.
I would love to see it tried out. Flick unlocked Raphinha/Pedri/Lewa Let's see him fully unlock Gavi. (Whose been an amazing utility player in about 4 positions so far)

He’s doing well and the Swede is every bit the talent many of us believed he could be in a senior team. Casadó flourishing has little to do with the club/Deco being left with egg on their face considering their very visible pursuit. A Barca transfer pursuit of that sort 9/10 ends with player signing, and it has not been the only example under Deco

Their was no egg in face, he changed his mind as he is entitled to because he got offered more money and the coach he wanted to play for left.

Wasn't as big a deal as people here made out, because like I said then, even though he is talented, we have multiple players in midfield in la masia who are just as if not more talented.

Marc Casadó: “If I am where I am today, it is largely thanks to Rafa Márquez. He gave me confidence at all times and made me a better person and a better player, especially by making me see the importance of working off the field. I will be eternally grateful to him.”

Marquez also replied

Now as a coach, one of the things you value the most is gratitude and helping the player develop. Casado is a clear example of a professional player from head to toe! Bravo! Happy with his performance

This is great. Impressive how Casado was an answer to DM problem we had for 2 years.

Thank you Rafa

Spin it how you like, public perception is egg on face not befitting a club of Barca‘s stature…the fact it is not an isolated & visible example, only makes it worse

True. He made us look misarble, but he is not world beater.

I totally forgot about this guy that he even plays.

I am more disapoointed because of Arda Guller.

Everyone did, that's why it doesn't matter then, didn't matter now.

No spin needed, some just like to over reacte as per usual then time proves them wrong.

He was a nice transfer if it happened, a nothing transfer if it didn't, we have 10 of him already in masia.

No one really cared about losing Bergvall other than those who were already against either Deco or Laporta, or both. They used it as another example to feed their opinion.

It is always the same with any player that was linked to us and went elsewhere, from the start of Internet era,
