17 - Marc Casadó

Casado has been poor since last year / the odd performance against Madrid. He tries too much and he simply doesn’t have that talent.

Should stick to what worked at the start of the season, keep it simple.

If FdJ played like him yesterday, his thread would have 150 angry posts.
Although I like him, he was shit yesterday and it has to be said that he had quite a solid number of shit games. Not sure anymore that he is our solution for the DM position

There is always a honeymoon phase with young players, and then with time there are a more criticism.

Casado is still an upgrade over what we had last year in CDM, but he is showing his limitations tbh, and why Bernal was ahead of him early this season.

Bad game wasn't on him, it was on the tactics in the first half, benfica was just sat up better than Barca.

Nothing changed until we went to the back 3.

Why would fans be angry at him compared to de jong, he didn't cost us 80m euros and is being paid 20+m this season and called by many the best Midfielder in the world.

He has a bad game, like 70% of the team, take it and move on

Also the only bad game he has where he was singularity bad and not the entire team being flat, was the Atleti game.

Bench him and watch the Dutch man fuck everything up.

Some of his tackles tonight were outstanding. Great at pressing as well. Distribution also high level

Very good game, after a shaky one.

Fans can relax, he's key in Midfield.

Top 5 players on the pitch today, probably top 3.

Casado and FDJ had a good understanding and helped one another.

Could see them both baiting in Valencia players to commit and the other would create and angle an open up game.

Happened time and again they beat the press like that.

Valencia were very naive to press those two in the way they did.

He has been off it for a while and had a few instances getting bullied a bit but Valencia didnt even really get the chance tonight.

Remarkable after the debut seasons of both Lamine & Pau is full fledged 1st teamers that there is already Casado to enjoy be such a catalyst in midfield in his debut season. I don’t think he is a long-term fixture in that midfield, not at Barça, but I love what he brings. Not unlike Fermin, kids from La Masia dig deep - what’s not to love
