Because he got sent off like an idiot. Been our best player in the time he was on. Lamal is not even close to Raphinha, only a child can think that.

No because Raphinha was on for longer.. didnt create a chance as good as Lamal did and his passing was fucking woeful.

Lamal has more quality than Raphinha even now.

Raphinha was not Barcas best player at all. He had fucking 33% pass accuracy, fluffed a couple of chances and didnt create anything of note.

๐ŸŽ™๏ธ โ€œAlthough Lamine Yamal currently holds a La Masia player contract, his future remains closely intertwined with FC Barcelona.โ€

๐ŸŽ™๏ธ โ€œHis representative, Jorge Mendes, has already assured Joan Laporta that there will be no issues concerning Lamine Yamal's present or future, despite Manchester City's interest in signing the young footballer through Girona due to his age.โ€

๐ŸŽ™๏ธ โ€œThe initial plan was to secure his signing with Girona and subsequently facilitate his move to Manchester City. However, this plan did not materialize because Lamine Yamal's trajectory is centered around succeeding at FC Barcelona.โ€

โ€œAdditionally, the sports management acted swiftly to secure his future, providing peace of mind to Xavi Hernรกndez.โ€

Yeah, or that he doesn't fancy playing in fuckin Girona.

Now if City were offering him a first team spot like ourselves, then we could be more worried.

Nice to see the Mancalans have a pact of non aggression btw..

Looks like he made the right choice. He is potentially our starter for the next few games.

If he has good impact, who knows what happens..

Wouldn't start him yet. Starting is a very different thing from coming on late in the game.

These 65-min just-do-your-thing subs is a good way to build familiarity and confidence without too much pressure.

Well it's not totally unreasonable that Girona could offer him more stable playing time in Liga. That combined with being promised a transfer to City in 2 years time wouldn't be a bad idea for a youngster.

Glad he stayed.
