The assist he provided was a thing of beauty. The precision and timing of his cross into the box demonstrated a level of decision-making and vision that you don't often see in players his age. It's clear he's been well-coached and has a sharp football IQ.

Chihua, Kounde, and pushover were bunched together on the far post, blind guy could punt a cross to hit such a wide target. No need to gush dishonestly on Yamal.

This formula of 70/20, 60/30 split is stupid.

Just do 45/45 and let the better player play proportionally more minutes.

Every player should only be as good as their last game unless there is no back up.

Just have to manage him physically. Seems to have one of those bodies that can bounce around the challenges though. But can't be starting every game.

Watch that, and watch the Saudi's too. Gotta imagine they may offer him a ridiculous unmatchable contract.
Depends on the player/family too. Silly money can never be ruled out but agree that he is so special that it's imperative he is managed cautiously to avoid a physical overload at such a young age that his body will not be able to support yet

May seem premature but even 16 year old Leo was not playing heavy minutes initially and he was arguably at his apex as a direct attacking footballer. We all know the outcome of Ansu's unfortunate meniscus tear that was really an innocuous sequence on the pitch

We all should be brimming with excitement for the kid but also exude some patience to allow the kid to mature more physically before he is heavily overplayed. There's still a strong school of thought that even lifting weights at this age is too soon for developing bones/frame

What a player though, his potential is through the roof

Busquets was not a wonder kid or much expected from and not really a la masia product either.

Thiago probably last highly rated to be world class at some point.
