They laughed months ago when I said he would be the best in the world. They will still make excuses why he is not the best in the world. He has to do it in the Champions League they said. Now they will say he has to do it against Madrid.

Lol have seen him several times now and he's clearly going to be world-class and a leading centre-back of the new generation. Assuming he avoids the usual stuff (injuries or problematic women, lol).

He has improved a lot this year, great game last night.

He still needs to position himself a little better in offside trap, but that is asking for perfection tbh.

Random side thought, his drag backs are like 30% that of busquets, which basically means he's the best in the world at it now, since busquets drag backs where otherworldly good.

And he's doing it with a 'finished' 33-year old formerly injury prone partner who was never world class to begin with, with mighty 21 caps over his career.
