And he's not only defending it well, he's also very good on the ball and building up the game. He has absolutely everything to follow in Pique's footsteps.

He’s even better on the ball. His passing is crazy good, also vision.

Yep. When Cubarsi hit that first long low progressive pass after the first 20 minutes, and the crowd roared, I knew that we had weathered the storm and that everything would be OK.

He'll become better than Pique in final third if given opportunity to contribute offensively beyond corners. I hope his and Yamal's DNA don't get stunted with Bayernball obsession.

Cubarsi should be hyped as much as Yamal. Arguably harder to do what he is at his age. This isn't normal defense either. High IQ game reading is required for the offside trap

For all the hate these Gen Z kids get for their short attention spans and whatnot, many of them are levels above the past generation in terms of IQ.

Both Pau and Yamal's greatest quality is arguably their football IQ. Pedri too. These kids are just evolving much faster than before, and it has to stopped looking like a coincidence at this point.

I believe it's all the tactical understanding gathered from hours upon hours of playing Fifa 😂 whatever it is, this generation is raising the ceiling - as it should be.

These are not your average Gen Z though. They don't just have studies to do. They are professional already. They don't have time to faff around as much as teenagers their age.
They didn't get exposed that much to the ticktock world. Hence why their attention span remains ok.

You're kidding yourself if you think they're not consuming social media. Yamal is on tiktok all the time, reposting content.

Am I not saying they are not. What I am saying is their social media consumption is probably a heck of a lot less than the Avg gen Z.

Or maybe I am just wrong. Dont see where I would have that much time or energy to spend on Social if I had their schedule.

They spend like 2-3h away from their homes for training each day. Maybe an extra hour or so to eat.
They have more free time than us.
