20 - Dani Olmo

He'll be wearing the #10 next year.

His football IQ is on another level. He doesn't look like the most athletic player but the stuff he does just leaves you in awe. Similar to that of someone like Bernardo Silva.

Incredible player.
Yamal may wear #10 next season. Though Olmo may too if he continues to play like this.

It's genuinely shocking how good he actually is. How can a player who has never scored more than 8 goals in a season, in 2 really weak leagues, suddenly turn up and look like he is going to score or assist every time he gets the ball? It seems these La Masia lads will always play their best football at the club that built them.
It could be that now he is in his absolute prime. Both physicality and mentality. Then he plays for his dream club, plays in his best role and has a team that fit his style. He already had good synergy with his teammates, especially offensive players like Yamal, Lewy, Raphinha, Pedri.

Probably other teams hestitated to buy him because Barcelona has rejected him in the first place (when he moved to Dinamo), so other clubs probably thought: "there must be something wrong with him if Barca has let him go that easily".

So maybe Puig has a chance when he turns 26 too lmao.

Puig is in MLS at 25. At that point he already gave up his ambitions of being a top player.

Even Dinamo Zagreb (which was Olmo's club at a very young age) are better than almost all the teams in MLS, perhaps better than all of them except Inter Miami.

I don't think if Puig went to Zagreb now he would be able to start, lol, they have Baturina in the same position who is way better.

Baited myself into stupid comments lol.

Irony if we got Flick instead of Xavi years ago we'd still have Puig.
Highly doubt Flick would have any patience with players that aren't willing to work hard, which is surely one of Puig's main characteristics and his biggest career obstacle

Even the deadwood we still have at our club such as Ferran are most likely giving their best on the trainings which is why they're still here

Riqui has always been good as a chance creator. That was never the issue for him. The thing his dense fanboys fail to understand or blatantly ignore because they're mildly retarded is that he was shipped out of Barcelona due to him barely pressing or working hard off the ball. That doesn't work unless you're Messi and even then your team mates have to work extra hard for you. He's not a special player.

That and his partying and antics off the pitch. Puig probably loves being the center of attention. He has that in Los Angeles which is why he's not even tried returning to Europe to prove himself at the highest level.

Incorrect, Xavi shipped him because Puig is anti-gimpmaster.
