1) This season, we've had plenty of decisions against us, biggest ones see Birmingham away and Chelsea away.

Thumbs up for reading that correctly. I was simply stating that Hernandez has been a major reason to your "success". Fergie makes a good share of luck for United imo with his pressure, or whatever you want to call it, on referees. Man United have also had numerous decisions go for ye, Rooney's batant elbow against Everton, Vidic should've been sent off in the two games Ive seen recently - West Ham (last man back and clearly fouled Ba) and Arsenal (clear hand ball by Vidic). I presume there have been many other incidents too but fortunatly I dont watch United often.

Flop???....not at all. I'll give you that in international games, its just never really happened for him. But For United he steps up. You should really watch more Man U games before speculating. Did you not see him against Chelsea in the Q finals? He had a slow start to the season but he's been amazing in the last couple of months. As a non United fan you wont be able to appreciate it, because he's never going to score 30 or 40 goals. thats not his game. He's a provider, works so hard, his range of passing his sublime, he basically just makes United tick. Watch the first leg against Shalke, see his assist for the first goal. He does it time and time again.

Maybe your right, Barca could be that good, or maybe United will bring them back down to earth. I cant wait to find out.

Guardian, I did actually mention the diving etc in my post!...ooops. But to be fair I don't watch enough Barca games to pass fair judgement. All I know is they are a fantastic side and don't need to give people reasons to pass negative judgements. It was quite bad against Real Madrid, but despite that they were by far the better team. If we do lose against barca I'd rather it be by Messi doing his thing, than a controversial dive etc. But I'm sure it will be a great game!

United are the top scorers in the EPL, so surely that puts paid to the argument we are boring!!?? Anyone who has watched United reguarly can easily see we play very exciting football. We don't enjoy the type of possesion we used to, but it doesn't make us any less effective.

As a United fan I am worried about meeting Barca in the final, but I also believe they should be worried about us too! I love Messi, but I can honestly say I wouldn't swap him for Rooney, he is the heartbeat of our team and if he plays well United play well, and I think this match could be about who comes out on top between these two players.

Overall I think its going to be a great game, between two great teams. I love Barcelona's attacking football, I just wish they wouldn't get involved with all the diving, rolling around on the floor play acting and getting in the refs face for every little decision. Lets hope its a fair game of beautiful football.

To stay on this matter, I hope also that MU do not want to break a leg of Messi (a diver according to you) with 11 fouls like RM (at least 2 red card for RM according to the world press) Or that you want to break the record of RM with 31 fouls in a CL match.
But I can understand that a MU fans have to defend the absurd theory of the asshole special 5…. one day he will be the coatch of MU.

Hernadez has been a revalation (who by the way thinks Rooney is the best in the world), but I wouldn't have any other player in the world over Rooney. Like I say you can only appreciate it if you watch his full game, every game.... he's United's rock.

Messi is amazing, and so are Barcelona but please understand United are top of the EPL and in the European final for a reason. Also they have been in 3 finals in the last four years...even Barca can't boast that! With a better center midfield (give me a young scholes or keane anyday) we would have walked our league.

This is in danger of sounding like I am against Barca....I'm not!!! I really like them and respect your style of footabll. Messi is the best in the world, but Roony is ours and I just think he suits United better, but I'm not taking anything at all away from the Gem you have in Messi.

Also I dont think they cheat all the time, but as a neutral against Madrid it was quite bad.....but thats irrelevant becuase they played Madrid off the park!

If barca win the game I will be on here congratulating them, butI also think Man U have a strong chance...just my opinion.

I don't usually bother with football forums because so many people are anti- Man Utd, but after I read through the thread, most people here are actually quite respectful, rather than the usual 'Man U are the worst team ever!' type of thing you see on other forums. lol.

Dont mean to be cocky about this one but ive watched United all season and obviously Barca, unless something crazy happens i only see one winner we are much better than we were when we beat them before and we have nearly a full squad, they are alot weaker without Ronaldo.
