This trend of awarding the BdO to the player with most trophies is absurd. I wish the individual criteria of the 90's comes back. Van Basten won the 1992 BdO based on his individual performance, Milan and Netherlands didn't triumph in Europe, also people in my country believe Stoichkov was robbed of the award that year, but it is what it is.

Unless France Football delay the award the WC will be after the voting period ends. So if Bayern win the CL he'll secure it.

I can't see them not extending the voting, WC is too big to not be included.

The Ballon d'Or ceremony will be streamed live online via L'Equipe's YouTube channel. Eurosport will also be streaming the award on its website and the Eurosport app.

I believe the ceremony starts at 20:30 CET. Also some fake "official" channels out there.
