Was never that impressed with him seeing him for France or Sevilla either. Especially the ball-playing aspect. He looks dross and awkward as hell on the ball. Heck even our 'worst' ball playing CB Araujo looks a lot more comfortable on the ball than Kounde.

He's not the worst CB out there, he's alright and wouldn't mind him as a squad player. But to be our marquee CB signing which consumed so much of lever money...yeah another terrible waste.

Him being shifted in positions is not an excuse for basic fuck ups from a supposedly high level footballer. He needs to massively improve next season.

True. Should be one of the 3 positions we should definitely cover better in the summer. By far, RB, CM and LW.

Also true. Sketchy first season with some big blunders that are down to him individually as a footballer. As of now, he would be 3rd choice CB ideally. Still should play plenty in this role if we sign a good RB considering the injuries Araujo and Christesen pick up on a regular basis.
