He was your boy Xavi's first choice. Xavis player recruitment sucks. Your boy Xavi wasted money so many players and we are in worst shape then we were with Koeman.

He is such a nothing player. Not good enough in the air, not good enough with his feet, not enough pace for anything, not disciplined to play as a CB.
His only saving grace is that he is more defensively astute than your modern fullback. That’s it.
All that for 50m euros btw.

Wouldnt say he is good defensively at full back... Barca dont trust him vs any wide players with pace.

Needs sold asap and money invested in areas of team that need it.
Need a leader/organiser at bsck big time. Don’t have one bar maybe Inigo and he is old, injury prone and one too much money.

In my humble opinion, Barca should have gone for Milan Skriniar.
Perfect age. Perfect profile. Decently experienced.
Skriniar is great at organising a defense and his defensive positioning, marking ability and tackling are all top notch.
Also decent on the ball and good in the air. He'd get the best out of Araujo imo.
