You can't have a different lineup against Monaco, which is a decent team, better than Rayo Vollacano.
Did you guys forget how badly we were playing with Ferran as an LW? Against a team like Monaco, which plays physically and intensely, our midfield would have been overrun with just Pedri and Casado.
You put Eric and Casado with the hopes of them covering for Balde's lack of defense and Pedri's creative ability to make plays. Thats it.
10 times out of 10 Flick will deploy this. It doesn't matter how shit Eric is, we do not have fit players, he's the only option.
