He's staying so I hope he does well, he hasn't failed us nearly as much as Torres.

Still weak and slow, but he will can do a job against mid to lower level teams .

I'm afraid he'll be heavily exposed at DM.
Not against Valladolid, I expect a somewhat easy 3 points - than we have international break and Frenkie might be on the bench against Girona and Prim might train with the big boys and in that position until than, time will tell.

Not been as bad at CB as made out.

In current situation he will be of use.

Much more useful than likes of Fati has been since arrived.

Glad he stayed considering the circumstances.

Don't expect much at DM but he'll be a useful CB given the squad.

First half of the season probably won't be an issue. Many injuries and games that are important but not crucial. Wouldn't want to rely on him in a CL knockout or a decisive game in Clasico when season is ending though.

Given our situation we can't complain. He plays 2-3 positoins where we are quite thin, so I am happy we have him

To be fair to Garcia.. he put on the best CB performance under Xavi in a Classico in that 4-0 win.

In our current situation, he will be of use...hopefully limited.

He deserved the hate imo. He was making a blunder every other appearance and had 2-3 handballs and other stupid fouls/penalties- all while getting skinned regularly. If anyone earned the hate with bad performance after bad performance it was Eric. A solid game vs RM doesn't sweep that under the rug.

Needs to have a chain of games without stupid mistakes before he builds back any trust. He's a bit soft with average speed, but as far as skill on the ball and build, he's got what he needs to succeed. His mental hasn't been there though.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, he has shown more than enough that he is braindead and cannot be relied upon in any kind of major game, what so ever. If Flick requested to keep him, it's on him because he's trash.

Guys like him and Torres who have weak mental need to go.
