Same number as last year,just Mathieu relegated to Bartra role while Umtiti getting his role.

Vermaelen was always injured, and probably will be again this season. There's too much cb's.

I think that is the plan. Wouldn't make sense to give Vermaelen 1 minute of playing time if he stays, so sell him for no matter what amount..

Loan + But option is an absolute joke. They will do the same thing they did with Digne, or the same thing West Ham did with Song.
They know from now on that they won't buy him for 15m euro in one year time even if he performs well.
My opinion is that he should stay or go back to a premier league club willing to pay the price we payed for him.

Yes.... Italian clubs are getting notorious with their loan+buy option deals of late. In fact we ourselves have already been fooled with such deals in the case of Montoya and Song. Even Tello who has actually done very well in loan, also Song for that matter, before his injury

Sell to Roma even if the price would go as low as 5 mill if that's the only chance Verm is sold this summer... Barca shouldn't take risks with him, not many will be willing to incorporate such a notoriusly injury prone player...
