Good price for what?if he isn't playing then we paid for nothing .it is never a good price for nothing

For 10 mil we could've got Garay or Doria or Sokratis or Agger or De Vrij. Maybe not "better" than Verminator but they are less of a liability when it comes to injuries. For 10 mil we could've promoted all of our youth CB-s and all of them would've contributed more to this team than Vermaelen... And just a little something to think about... JUST 10 MIL EUROS? That sum of money isn't... just...

Koke didn't want to join. Also the reason we play well is because messi is on the right and there is an actual striker in the middle. So signing suarez was a good idea.

Rakitic is starting to prove himself anyway as our new midfielder.

Why not? We paid 18mil for a player who hasnt played a game for so many months..Even when he get the medical greenlight he will probably be in shit form or even worse he will get injured again.

I think we paid 10mil + 2mil if we win CL (with him in the squad?) + 6mil if he plays a certain amount of matches.

It'll probably be 10mil in the end. Still bad.
