Being treated really harshly by Flick. Surely he could have got a few games by this point.
For example which game? We've only played UCL and Liga so far and there is no reason fucking around with the GK position and drop points because of it. You know if he started Tek and he made some blunder Flick would be blamed by the fanbase for it.

Two more games remaining in the league, then two weeks rest. First game after the break is Copa vs Barbastro 4th Jan. Surely he makes his debut then.

You want to give a backup GK some minutes. Not least to have some match experience if 1st gk gets injured/suspended and not to be thrown to the fire without a minute of playing time.

Yeah, so far, there weren't really easy peasy games to spare and experiment with something that already passed the utility test.

I wish he were the choice #1, of course, but I understand the pragmatic approach here....

Are there going to be those super cup competitions in Suadi Arabia again?
Maybe that's when he'll get some matches or surely for the Copa match after the break(?).

If he does not play Copa then that would mean that Flick has some problems with Szczęsny, which would be sort of awkward. Maybe Flick saw Szczęsny smoking a camel 🚬 .

When Szczęsny made his debut, Arsenal captained by Cesc (the best young midfielder at that time) was an interesting team. The squad was made of young promising players (Cesc, Van Persie, Nasri, Wilshere, Ramsey etc.), some experienced old players, and some squad fillers. They did not do much in transfer markets "due to financial concerns". They got a good coach (Wenger), played beautiful fast attacking football, and were prone to mysterious mid-season meltdowns.
