Fort should turn out good. He's a career rightback that for whatever reasons looked better at leftback in the first team. But at 17 you really want to focus on getting him playing at the level from rightback before inverting.
Saying all that, his issue more than anything to me seems to be fitness. He always has looked gassed after one big action. Which is totally normal for young players. Perhaps Flick and his team are focused on developing his fitness first and taking a longer path with him?
