I think Valle has better chances to stick around longterm but Martin is the one who could provide solid depth and be a rotational player against most La Liga teams while Valle is developing out on loan. Not sure if he can step up as a starter if Balde gets injured long term again. Hopefully won't need to find that out this season.

He's just a great tactical player to have.

If you read Flick talking about Dominguez, you see that he has chosen him because of his maturity and ability to grab tactical concepts quickly and fit the system. Gerard Martin is probably the same case.

Makes me think Flick may take to Mbacke.
