He's definitely not leaving Barca.

As of today, Barca are way too attractive a club to leave unless it goes totally broke and refuses to pay him reasonable wages.

Barcelona have insane pull and there's nowhere else a player like Araujo would rather be.

He's going to be the undisputed best CB in the world in about a year.
Don't think so.

He's poor on the ball and too injury prone.

Dias(ignoring his very recent form as it's just a rough patch) and Saliba are more well rounded and have more positional awareness.

He is not that bad at ball playing and general awareness, of course it's not his strongest aspect, although he has improved. But on purely defensive duties he is one of the very best. about injuries the jury is still out.

Okay here's the thing: Defensive awareness and Positioning are primary pure defensive attributes. Christensen is better in these 2 aspects for instance.

In 1 on 1 situations, Araujo is amazing because of his size and speed. He's really tough to get past.

He has improved on the ball but still far from some of these CBs who are elite on the ball even under extreme pressure in big games.

If you ask me who'll be the best CB next year, Dias and Saliba are still better bets because of how well rounded they both are.

But Araujo can definitely be World Class and amongst the best CBs itw very soon.

Players wanting to bail would be bad bad look for Xavi and Barca.

Laporta would punt him if the better players dont see a future at Barca.

He was one of many throwing up arms as had no clue why Girona had so many options and space.

Your most important player, covering for all of the mistakes that other defenders and midfielders are doing constantly. Today he was bad and the result is evident.

Still the GOAT. He's allowed one bad game. But this is why you never, ever try to curb this guy's aggression. He will pick up unnecessary yellow cards and maybe the odd injury from being aggressive, but you just got to roll with it and take the rough with the smooth.

Taking his aggression away is like taking Viagra away from Fati Future Ballon Dor. Both can't perform without it.
