They paid 55mil for Koopmeiners, they can pay same for Araujo.

I not mad that he us going just because of injuries.

But also I think we need better starter then Tah.

But on the other hand we are just to win without Araujo, and we lack offensive power.

I am all for Leao/Diaz, not so much for Nico, who does not impressed me this season. Leao would be my first option.

Appreciate the positivity, but nothing and I mean nothing, will justify getting rid of the best centre back in the world on his day, in his prime, whether that be for 25, 55 or even 85m.

Serious football teams just don't do that kind of shit.

I will be fucking fuming if it comes to pass and if the reason is to rectify the Olmo debacle so he can be registered etc, then I will firmly remove myself from the Laporta Defence Force First Xi

Or it could be shrewd timing and he ends another Varane, and his injuries continue or even increase as he ages.

Bigger issue is we would need a LCB this Summer or next to start. With City set to pay 40m for Vitor Reis and 50m for Uzbek lad we will have to spend sizeably on the market, either via transfer fee or via free agent wage with quality.

Well Araujo is beast, but we see how Psg targeted him and let him on the ball.

Cubarsi is future and we need left footed player like Araujo.

Problem is there is not much of them.

I would not like to sell him, but he has year and half on contract, it is now sell him or renew, and he seems like he does not want to stay anymore.

50mil and I think we are good.

If he does not have injury problems I would be against selling him.

They would have to sell him unless they can agree to a renewal.

If he tells them he don't want to renew with us and want to leave then what do you do? Let him run his contract out? Leave him on the bench?

Mostly agree, I mean I don’t think Araujo should be sold at any price but I also understand the wage structure to be maintained as well. Sales will be needed to add any big pieces in 2025 - FDJ & Ansu are the obvious ones but neither will be easy or likely to result in a windfall of fees

I also don’t believe Ron’s situation has anything to do with Olmo or registration, this is about FFP room for pending targets

If they hold on to him, they will sell kounde in summer 2026.

I don't see us keeping both, they are amongst our most sellable assets.
